Visiting Programs

MIT has a deep tradition and commitment to academic openness and international cooperation to further science and technology and to enhance social relations among nations.
 
Following on that tradition, the Center promotes scholarly exchange between MIT and institutions in Kuwait by organizing visits by MIT scholars to Kuwait, and by offering emerging scholars and outstanding students from Kuwait visiting programs to MIT to conduct independent research.
 
   This is internship program is designed for prospective and highly qualified students who wish to work on research opportunities at MIT during the summer.
   Selected students are enrolled as Visiting Students.
 
   This is a fellowship program designed for scientists and scholars who wish to conduct independent research on topics of interest to the Center.
   Selected applicants are appointed as Visiting Scientists.
